Mobile Addiction

Mobile addiction, a curse it seems,
A constant need to check and tweet,
We stare at screens through all our dreams,
Our phones, our crutch, our constant seat.

We scroll and swipe from dusk till dawn,
Ignoring friends and loved ones near,
We're lost in screens, our minds withdrawn,
Our phones, our world, our only cheer.

But what is this that we have done?
We've traded life for pixels on a screen,
We've lost the touch, the feel, the fun,
Our phones, our prison, our routine.

So let us put them down, and take a stand,
And reclaim our lives and our free will,
Let us live and love, and hold a hand,
And leave behind this mobile thrill.
