Long ago
a noble king ruled a distant land they were very happy when the baby daughter
was born they named the little girl Aurora we will have a grand celebration
in our kingdom we will invite everyone in the kingdom now there were 13 fairies
all together in the land but the king invited only 12 fairies they forgot about
the 13th.
On the day of the feast all the fairies gathered around and each made
a magic wish the princess shall be beautiful she shall be loving and kind and
so they went on just as the 12th fairy was about to make a wish in came the
13th fairy you have insulted me.
So you shall suffer here is my gift for your
beautiful child while the princess turns 16 years old she will prick her finger
on a spindle and she will die.
Old kingdom became sad oh my god baby I cannot
change all of the wicked fairy's powerful magic the princess will prick her
finger but she will not die she will fall asleep until a prince with true love
will find her.
The king and the queen thanked the fairy for a kindness guards
there should be no needle or spinning wheel in this kingdom so every spinning
wheel and spindle in the land was burned.
Years passed by and Aurora grew up
to be a wonderful girl just as the fairies had promised she was very beautiful
gentle and clever on her 16th birthday. Aurora was exploring the castle when she
came to a little room at the top of a tall tower and in that room was an old
woman sitting by a spinning wheel what are you doing I am spinning my child
would you like to try I have never seen such a thing before please let me try.
As soon as she touched the spindle the sharp point tricked her finger and she
fell asleep the old woman was actually the wicked fairy Modra the urge of wild
roses grew up around the castle 100 years passed by.
One day prince Evan from
the neighboring land he wanted to see what was there in the tower so he lifted
his sword to cut away the edge but as soon as the sword touched the branch a
path opened up in front of him he entered the castle and found that people were
sleeping at last he entered a little room at the end of a tall tower and saw
the sleeping princes what a beauty I have never seen anyone so beautiful.
He
bent down and kissed her cheek then the spell was broken and Aurora opened
her eyes what happened who are you I am prince Evan I come from the nearby land
king and the queen were very happy to see their turtle you have broken the
wicked witch's spell and the king went on to narrate the old story to the
prince and only your prince with true love could break the spell.
My dear Aurora you have found the true love Aurora and Evan got married soon after
all the fairies came to bless the young couple there was again another grand
feast in the kingdom.
